Hi, I’m Rachel
I’m a wife, mom, home cook, employeed and lifelong food lover. Some of my first jobs were in restaurants, where I fell in love with the science behind food and the way different ingredients and flavors can come together to create something special.
Cooking has always been one of the ways I show love to my family. For years, I rarely made the same meal twice—until everyone started requesting their favorites again and I realized I should probably start writing things down.
That’s really how The Nargi Table began. More than anything, this is a food journal for my daughter—a place where all the meals she grew up with can live, so someday she can recreate them herself whenever she wants a little taste of home.
We’re a family of three with both gluten-free and dairy-free eaters, so most of what I cook is designed to work for all of us without sacrificing flavor. I work full time, so these recipes are also designed to fit in a time-contraint evening. I believe in balanced nutrition, nutrient-dense meals, and really good food. And if these recipes can make cooking a little easier—or a lot more delicious—for another family with similar dietary needs, I’m happy to share a seat at our table.
